Role Purpose:

The E&S Specialist will support the Programme Implementation Unit (PIU) in planning, implementing, and monitoring all environmental and social safeguards measures. The objective is to ensure full compliance with African Development Bank (AfDB) policies, safeguard standards, and national regulations, and to promote environmental sustainability, social inclusion, and occupational health and safety (OHS) throughout project implementation.

Duration: 5 days per month, 60 days per year for 4 years.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

Support the PIU in planning, implementing, and monitoring all environmental and social safeguards measures.
Ensure full compliance with AfDB policies, safeguard standards, and national regulations.
Promote environmental sustainability, social inclusion, and occupational health and safety (OHS) throughout project implementation.

Qualifications/Requirements:
