Background

The Zimbabwe Red Cross Society (ZRCS) plays a pivotal role in disaster preparedness and response by prepositioning and distributing non-food items (NFIs) during emergencies. These NFIs are essential for meeting the immediate needs of affected communities. These items are selected based on regional needs and are aligned with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) standard product catalogue specifications. The inventory typically includes shelter materials such as tarpaulins and blankets to provide immediate housing solutions, water and Sanitation Supplies and hygiene kits to ensure access to clean water and sanitation. Through the Disaster Response Emergency Fund, ZRCS intends to procure the above-mentioned materials to support flood response to affected households this year.

Interested bidders are therefore requested to submit proposals for the following:

DIGNITY KIT	Sanitary Pads, Tooth Paste, Tooth Brush, Pants, Bath soap, Toilet Paper
SHELTER KIT	Blankets, Tarpaulins, plastic sheeting, solar lamps
WASH KIT	Plastic Water Buckets, soap, water treatment tablets

Tender Conditions

• Payment of USD 100.00, non-refundable fee on collection offender documents

• Company profile, registration and valid tax clearance certificate

• Attach a copy of the tender fee receipt

• Detailed Proposal

• At least three reference letters of previous supplies

Comprehensive bids in sealed envelopes clearly marked with the "Tender Number" should be delivered in two copies, addressed to the undersigned no later than 1300 hours, Friday 13 March, 2026. Detailed tender documents can be collected al the below address from Monday 9 March 2026 during working hours (excluding weekends).

Zimbabwe Red Cross Society reserves the right to accept or reject any tender (even the lowest bid) and the right to accept the whole or part of the tender.
