BACKGROUND

The Ministry of Agriculture, through the Horticulture Enterprise Enhancement Project (HEEP), supported by the Government of Zimbabwe and financed by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), invites qualified bidders (individual consultants and firms) to submit bids for the consultancy assignment: Technical Assistant – Gender, Youth, Social Inclusion and Nutrition. HEEP aims to develop sustainable horticulture enterprises across Zimbabwe, promoting inclusive growth, food security, and economic resilience.

SCOPE OF THE ASSIGNMENT

This consultancy focuses on strengthening community mobilization and promoting gender equality, youth engagement, social inclusion, and nutrition within the horticulture sector. The consultant will provide technical assistance to ensure these critical areas are integrated into project activities, supporting inclusive growth and data-driven sector development across Zimbabwe's horticulture value chains.
